Today i.e. on 6th December, is a golden day for team India as five great Indians were born today and they changed the face of the Indian National Cricket Team in their own way. Let’s see some interesting facts and some unique record held by these birthday boys:

Jasprit Bumrah turns 26 years-old today

Team India’s pacer and death over specialist was born today in Ahmedabad. Currently, he is now the backbone of the Indian Cricket Team and one of the best bowlers in the current era. 

Jasprit Bumrah came into the limelight during a match in 2013 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and just after that, he got a call from Mumbai Indians for IPL contract. In his debut match, he took his first scalp and he was none other than Virat Kohli.

Ravindra Jadeja turns 31 years-old today

Sir Ravindra Jadeja yes, that is what everyone calls him as he is currently one of the best all-rounders in the cricket world at the present. He is the man who never misses a chance in the field to contribute for the team whether it is from batting, bowling or fielding. 

He is from a rare group of players who’ve played two under-19 World Cups as he was part of the 2006 and 2008 squads. 

Shreyas Iyer turns 25 years-old today

Shreyas Iyer is that emerging cricketer of the Indian team who is going to contribute a lot from his skill of playing. In the Indian Premier League 2019, he took his team Delhi Capitals to the play-offs and this was after 7 years Capitals was in the play-offs of the IPL.

Currently, team India is trying Iyer as their no. 4 batsmen in the team in the limited-overs and he is leaving no stone unturned to play for team India. 

Karun Nair turns 28 years-old today

He is the quickest batsman to score a maiden triple-hundred (303*) in Test cricket history as he took only 3 innings to achieve this feat against England in 2016. He is the only 2nd Indian to score a Triple-century after Virender Sehwag and the third player to convert their maiden Test centuries into triple centuries.

RP Singh turns 34 years-old today

Rudra Pratap Singh the former Indian bowler was one of the best death bowlers at the time and he was also part of India’s 2007 squad that won the maiden T20 World Cup in South Africa. He in his debut Test match was named player of the match as he picked up 5 wickets against Pakistan in 2006.
